Marine Filtration Mesh
GTX Marine Filtration Mesh — NP1 precision mesh qualified to 2,000 hours salt-spray (ASTM B117) and 99.9% microbial-removal efficiency under IMO 2020 BWMS protocols. Specified for ballast-water management retrofit and desalination pre-treatment across the ~90,000-vessel addressable fleet.
2,000-hour salt-spray. 99.9% microbial removal. IMO 2020 BWMS ready.
The IMO 2020 Ballast Water Management Convention obliges ~90,000 vessels globally to install BWMS. Commodity stainless mesh corrodes under sustained chloride exposure; polymer filtration fouls. NP1 nickel mesh neither corrodes nor fouls at the rate that retrofit economics require — delivering a filtration service-life that approximates the useful life of the host vessel.

2,000 hours salt-spray. 99.9% microbial removal.
Salt-spray qualified against ASTM B117 for 2,000 hours with no pitting or dimensional loss. Microbial-removal efficiency benchmarked against IMO 2020 BWMS performance thresholds in joint test protocols. Commodity alternatives (stainless, phosphor-bronze mesh) fail the 500-hour mark under equivalent cycling.
